A wildflower hike at Fontenelle Forest has been set for next Tuesday, April 7. Those interested in attending should meet in front of the main building at 5:30. The guided hike will begin at 5:45 and last until 7:00 or 7:15. Our guide will know where to go to find the best potential shots.
Suggestions for those attending
-
Wear comfortable shoes or hiking boots. We will be on trails, not the boardwalk.
-
Pay attention to the weather forecast and dress accordingly.
-
Bring bug spray and perhaps even a hat.
-
Bring hiking poles if needed.
-
A backpack for loose gear, extra lenses, and water would be helpful.
-
Suitable lenses include a macro lens, 50 mm, wide angle, or a combination lens, such as 18-400mm.
-
Our guide will have access to the main building, so restrooms will be available before and after the walk.
Questions?
Please address questions and confirmation of your intention to attend using the phone number sent in email to all club members on April 1st. A text message is fine to indicate you are coming. If you did not receive the email, please leave your name and intent to attend at Contact@fontenelleforestphotoclub.org. Your information will be forwarded.
