Our next meeting is coming up this Thursday, November 17th at 7 pm in the Fontenelle Forest Nature Center Forest Room.
Our speaker this month will be our own Alex Wiles! Alex will be talking to us about his experiences as a free lance conservation photojournalist. Here’s more about Alex:
Alex Wiles is a conservation photographer and environmental educator based out of Omaha, Nebraska. His interest in conservation initiatives takes him around the world where he documents the challenges faced by wildlife and the work of those who wish to protect it.
Alex’s work has been featured in a variety of media outlets, including:
- National Geographic – Voices
- The Wildlife Conservation Society – Wild View
- REPTILES Magazine
- NEBRASKAland Magazine
- Fontenelle Forest
We will also be collecting photos for our November photo displays. The subject for the November displays will be photos of leaves and fountains.
Please remember to add your name, the subject and the location on the back of each photo you submit. The photos can be 8×10, 8×12 or 11×14. No mattes or frames please.
Also, please come prepared to pay your club dues if you haven’t done so already.
