About 34 people met at 7:00 P.M at the Fontenelle Forest Nature Center. President Jay Davis presided.
One new person was introduced.

The photos can be 8×10, 8×12 or 11×14. No mattes or frames please. Remember to add your name, the subject and the location on the back of each photo you submit.
The rules of the upcoming photo contest were sent out to members. Set up will be Sat. May 25th at 10 am in the Bellevue University Humanities Building Gallery. The takedown on June 21st at 10 am.
Baright Gallery Photo Display
The club will be displaying photos in the Forest Baright Gallery from the end of August to early January 2020. Included in the display will be photo contest winners plus at least one photo from each member.
Terry Coopman, a colleague of Jay’s, then spoke on some the requirements for a photo to do well in a contest. Among them were that it should be clear what the main topic of the photo is. The composition of the image should follow the rule of thirds. He also mentioned glossy paper should not be used for the print.
After he spoke he encouraged members to show him their prints to be critiqued.
