Happy New Year! I hope everyone had a great holiday season and Santa brought you that photography gear that you’ve always wanted.
Our December Holiday Pot Luck meeting was wonderful as always. The food was great and the slideshow was very entertaining. Thanks to everyone that brought food and helped to make the event so enjoyable. This is our club and it’s our participation that makes this club so special. It’s really a pleasure to be part of this group.
Our next meeting will be Thursday, January 19th at 7 pm in the Fontenelle Forest Nature Center Forest Room. For this month’s meeting I will share things that every photographer should know. I’ll go over several topics ranging from basics to more advanced subjects. I’ll also try to reserve some time to take questions from the membership on anything and everything photography related. If I don’t know the answer, I’m sure someone in the group will. So bring your cameras and your questions!
Also, please remember to bring your photos for the our February photo displays. The subjects for February are Frozen and Red. Remember to add your name, the subject and the location on the back of each photo you submit. The photos can be 8×10, 8×12 or 11×14. No mattes or frames please.
Educational Video of the Month
Here are a few short videos that explain one of the most important concept in photography, how we measure changes light in relation to camera exposure settings. Yes, I’m talking about Stops of Light and how it relates to your photography!
Please send any questions or comments to me at firstname.lastname@example.org. Otherwise, we will see you all next week!
