Three members of the Fontenelle Forest Photography Club have their images included in a recently published book entitled “Focus on Nebraska” by the Omaha World Herald. Jim Hughes, Doug French, and Frank Comisar each submitted their images to the online photography contest that drew more than 11,000 submissions in 34 categories.
According to the the OWH, “over 1 million votes were cast by the public in choosing the favorites. A panel of World-Herald editors, designers and photographers also weighed in with one choice in each category. Finally, supporters Rockbrook Camera and Peru State College made their selections”.
The selected images:
- Amur Leopard at the Henry Doorly Zoo by Doug French, p64
- Sandhill Crane Migration by Frank Comisar, p76
- Rose with Water Droplets by Jim Hughes, p86
- Bob Kerry Pedestrian Bridge by Jim Huges, p104
