Reminder – Next Meeting is Thursday, 10/20/16

Our next meeting is coming up this Thursday, October 20th at 7 pm in the Fontenelle Forest Nature Center Forest Room.

This month we will be sharing information and experiences regarding traveling by air with your photography gear. I will begin the meeting with a presentation, followed by participation from the group. So please come ready to share your experiences. Feel free to bring any bags, gadgets or accessories that you’ve found useful when you fly with your photo equipment.

We will also start collecting photos for our November photo displays. The subject for the November displays will be photos of leaves and fountains.

Please remember to add your name, the subject and the location on the back of each photo you submit. The photos can be 8×10, 8×12 or 11×14. No mattes or frames please.

Also, please come prepared to pay your club dues if you haven’t done so already.

Minutes of the Fontenelle Forest Photo Club Meeting Sept 15,2016

At 6:30 P.M. members were encouraged to go outside and photograph flowers and trees and other scenes around the Nature Center.

Meeting called to order at 7:30 by Pres. Peter Carbonell. About 28 members were in attendance

For November: Leaves and Fountains
For February: Frozen and red

Peter explained that the year’s programs was set up by the executive committee

October’s program will be by Peter Carbonell. He will go over packing photo equipment while travelling. Tips from members will be welcome. November’s program will be by Alex Wiles and December will be a potluck.

Peter mentioned that members wishing to lead photo outings should mention it to him.

The Program tonite was a slide show of the members favorite photos from the summer. Each member was asked to send 3-4 of their favorite summer photos to Peter.

Meeting was adjourned at about 8:10 P.M.
